The access to Bachelor programmes is possible whether by the International Student Status, the National Admission Procedure or by International Course Transfer, depending on your academic status.

International Student Status
International Students may apply via a special admission procedure, the International Student Status, organized by the IPB. This admission procedure aims at non-Portuguese and non-European students (check FAQs for further details).
Portuguese and European students, who are not allowed to apply via the International Student Status, may apply via the National Admissions Procedure.

National Admission Procedure
European students and other non-Portuguese students with permanent address in Portugal for the last two years can access to the Bachelor Programmes via the National Admission Procedure, organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education (DGES, www.dges.mctes.pt).

International Course Transfer
European and other International students who are, or have been, enrolled in a non-Portuguese Higher Education Institution, legally recognized at the country of origin, can request the admission via the regime of change of institution/course and enroll as full students at IPB.
