An EILC – Erasmus Intensive Language Course is a specialized course in less widely used and less taught languages organized in the countries where these languages are used as teaching languages at higher education institutions. The EILC give Erasmus students visiting these countries for studies and placements the opportunity to study the language concerned for two to six weeks with the aim of being prepared for the Erasmus mobility period abroad.
At the IPB the objective of this three-week course is to help students understand Portuguese culture and basic language structures to be able to communicate effectively in the Portuguese language in daily situations and to become a good starting point for those who wish to study in Portugal.
